Air Quality & Spore Testing

Scientific air sampling designed to detect airborne mold spores and evaluate indoor air conditions.

Professional Air Sampling (Spore Traps)

We use calibrated air sampling pumps with specialized spore trap cassettes to collect air samples inside the property. These devices capture microscopic airborne particles, allowing laboratory analysis to determine the presence and concentration of mold spores.

Comparative Baseline Analysis

To ensure accurate interpretation, indoor air samples are compared with an outdoor reference sample. This comparison helps determine whether the indoor environment has elevated mold spore levels relative to the natural outdoor environment.

Detection of Hidden Mold Conditions

Air sampling is particularly helpful when there are signs such as musty odors or allergy-like symptoms but no visible mold. Elevated spore levels in the air can indicate that mold may be present in concealed areas such as wall cavities, air systems, or under flooring.

Independent Laboratory Analysis

All samples collected during testing are sent to an accredited third-party laboratory. The laboratory identifies mold types present and provides spore count measurements, which are included in your official testing report.
